3% Postal Discount from USPS through August 31 If you have a mail piece scheduled to mail before August 31,2011, you can save a little on your postage bill. Right now, the USPS is running a promotion offering a 3% postage discount on any direct mail pieces mailed between now and 8/31/11 that include a QR Code that can be read by a Smart Phone. There are a few more details, such as you have to fill out a statement of intention and it can’t be included in just the address portion, but considering this is the USPS, the details are really simple!
